Okay, this album is not psych by most people's terms. But Ray Davies lyrics are all about escaping the clutches of the Man. He also frequently visits Taoist ideals. Ray Davies was just creative in a very different way than most. This album has all kinds of great sounds and is oh so British. This album is the world of Ray Davies, who is in my opinion, one of the all time great songwriters. This album is perfect from start to finish and echos psychedelic philosophy better than most of the psych artists of the time. This is Ray Davies' psychedelic world.
