I honestly am still too taken away by this masterpiece to use words to describe it. This is not a Beach Boys album. It is a Brian Wilson album that utilizes the best musicians in the world and the Beach Boys vocals. But Brian wrote all the tunes and they are filled with his struggle to return to innocence. These songs are so well written it doesn't seem logical that a single human being could conceive it all in their head. And this is why Brian Wilson is a god. Oh an Mike Love hated this album because he has no talent and spent his entire life trying to make Brian Wilson feel like shit for making good music. But nevertheless, Brian Wilson completed Pet Sounds and what many regard as the top essential album for music lovers from all walks.
